Motivation

Nowadays, that IT became so popular (and let’s face it: well paid) even in the Eastern European countries, many people are considering changing their career and getting into the field of IT. 4fef3ec68510366883e4388eea4ae0cb

A whole list of arguments could be listed here – all against this new “trend”. Probably you already have some in your mind. However, we would like to share some of our pros here.

  • We love to teach and have a knowledge to offer. Many people come to a point in their lives, when they feel that they want to give back to the society some of the knowledge, experience that they have gained through the years. This is something that motivates us as well. We have spent some years programming, we like what we do, we see a potential in it, and we want to share it.
  • Many of the people out there, really have the potential to grow, but they might not have the time/money/possibility, to give up on their jobs, and start a 3 years long university program. Sure, all has its costs. Time and money. But why couldn’t we offer an easier option to them? Easier, but still of the highest quality.
  • The programming field has raised significantly our living conditions – at least, this is the case here, in Romania. While many of us grow up seeing our parents counting every LEI inside the house (Romanian currency), sometimes being difficult even to afford the daily brad in the family – now we can buy a car, maybe even an apartment, and it is possible to enjoy our daily lunch outside, in the City Center. It is not about richness. This life still has its difficulties, but our living conditions are way better, than what our parents had in general (and many of our friends still have). Well, yes. It is money. But let’s face it: we need that money to reach some of our more important goals.
  • Riddles. We’ve always found discovering things and solving riddles so – so enjoyable. The good news is that as a programmer, riddles are part of the everyday work. New things are always around, it is possible to pick from the variety of solutions out there, it is always possible to improve something existent, and it is always possible to dive deeper. So, yes, it can become very interesting and enjoyable. If you also have such a desire for riddles, you will understand what are we talking about. Come and give it a go.
  • There is still a big shortage in the area. Well, this is the case here, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. More and more IT companies get established or move in, and they all need people (good people!) to work for them. Our school – at least in this phase, will only prepare junior level developers – but we intend to provide a solid understanding of technologies they will work with. We believe, that they will be able to grow fast at the company that will hire them. We also plan to provide support, and interview possibilities, where they can prove all that they have learnt during the time spent with us.

More reasons could be listed here, but to sum things up: we believe, that there is an opportunity for us, as an IT SCHOOL company, and that their is opportunity for people, who are willing to join and learn the ways of software development from us, with the goal of gaining experience in the field and potentially improving their lives.
